Gimac Events began in early 2021 — weeks before COVID-19 changed how Kenya gathered, celebrated and mourned. We started small: a handful of chairs, some linen, and a genuine love for turning empty spaces into something worth remembering.
When restrictions eased and people slowly came back together, we were ready — not with everything, but with the right instincts: listen closely, plan carefully, and treat every wedding, birthday and function like it's the only one that matters that week.
Since then we've grown into a full decor and equipment hire outfit, but the instinct hasn't changed. We still show up early, stay till the last chair is packed, and talk events like we mean it — because we do.
From napkin folds to lighting angles, we sweat the small things because guests notice them even when they can't say why.
We started during one of the hardest years for events in Kenya. Every booking since has been earned, not assumed.
